Via a GalleyCat tweet, I came across writer Mary Robinette Kowal's Month of Letters Challenge. The challenge is a simple one: Mail one item every USPS business day through the month of February. (With Sundays and holidays, that leaves 24 days.) "Write a postcard, a letter, send a picture, or a cutting from a newspaper, or a fabric swatch," Mary R K writes.
I'm on board. If you're one of my regular pen pals, expect more mail than usual. If you're not and you would like a little something in your mailbox from me, get in touch in any form of communication you like and give me your current address. (Strangers and estranged welcome.)
Let me know if you're joining in on the snail mail fun too. Also, FYI, as of this week, a postage stamp is 45 cents for a regular ol' letter and 32 for a postcard.
