crocheted wrist warmers

As I mentioned before, I rekindled my efforts to learn how to crochet--a dream that started last year with the purchase of a set of hooks and books from the library. About halfway through this past quarter I needed to do something with my hands that was soothingly repetitive yet productive. After reviewing the basic stitches, I moved on to granny squares, and then I pursued a more challenging project: fingerless gloves. I wanted a pair for myself so that I could easily manipulate my phone or dig around in my purse.

I did some quick YouTube searching and chose a tutorial (http://youtu.be/-Q3jLGaC9PY) by this user, traceyishh, because I thought her presentation was clear and easy to follow and her pattern was the cutest. And check out that pretty manicure.

That's just Part 1 of 3.

It was a fun pattern to follow (as opposed to repeating the same exact stitch over and over, as I did for my first scarf last year), and I made several pairs.

Boom.
