Some PhD students from Cornell worked on these chatbots (meant to simulate human conversation as much as possible) and wondered what would happen if two were hooked up to each other instead of interacting with humans. Based on this, things get tense fast between robots--or self-identified unicorns, whatever makes you happy.
This was passed on to me from a classmate who got it from another classmate who used the clip in a group discussion about virtual technology versus human reference librarians. It seems that Artificial Intelligence doesn't win just yet.
